Feeling Lucky – The Return of Andrew Luck

On New Year’s Day 2017, Week 17 of the NFL Season, The Indianapolis Colts defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-20. This game was the last game that involved Andrew Luck being the starting QB for the Colts. Since then, Luck has had no luck, as his surgically repaired throwing shoulder did not allow him to play in a single game during the 2017-18 season. Now, as Training Camp for the 2018 season approaches, there have been multiple videos and signs of Andrew Luck being close to 100% for the first time in a long time. And unfortunately, people forget what a difference maker he was at the QB position.

The return of Andrew Luck means a lot of things for this NFL season. First off, the NFL gets back one of their biggest stars from injury, making football better all around. Luck is a three-time Pro Bowler who can throw for days, and also has the clutch gene that he brings to the table every game, including his 18-career game winning drives (one in the playoffs) that most people can remember to this day. Luck has led the Colts to the AFC Championship once in his career, meaning he has a sniff of that possible success. He wants to prove all the people who believed in him as the “NFL’s Next All-Time Great”. However, since the last time Luck took the field, his division has a bit of a new look.

When Andrew Luck completed the 2016 season, the Jaguars were in last place in the AFC South, going 3-13, while the Texans won the division with a record of 9-7, and the Titans were looked at as team that just wasn’t there yet, but was getting closer. Well, time can bite back. Last season, the Texans finished poorly to end the season, however, with Deshaun Watson and JJ Watt returning from injury this year, plus a few offseason adds, this team is sure to bounce back huge and be in the playoff picture. The Titans made the playoffs last year, advancing to the Divisional Round after a big comeback win against the Chiefs, and adding a new coach in Mike Vrabel all while improving the team additions of Malcolm Butler and Dion Lewis. And finally, the Jaguars, you know, the ones who made it to the AFC Championship and had the best defense in the entire league last year.

Andrew Luck is going to have to be back to his normal self if he wants to make it back to the playoffs, as the Colts are positioned as the team to possibly finish last in the division. But what is so intriguing about it is the fact that Andrew Luck, when healthy, can win games for the Colts when you think they have no chance. His ability to pass the ball, move around the pocket, and even scramble makes him so important to the Colts and the league. The return of Luck is upon us, and as a Andrew Luck fan, I hope everyone can be excited for Luck to return and face some of the best teams in the league once again,

So, what do you think? Do you think Luck can comeback and be true to form? Or do you think he is just any other QB now? Let me know your thoughts!

Fly Eagles Fly - The NFL's Next Dynasty

By: Scott Edwards Twitter: @scottedwards18 When looking at the NFL, you begin to think, who’s next? Who is the next team to become a dynasty? Tom Brady’s career is winding down, and it seems as though the Patriots empire is beginning to as well, so who else would be better suited to take the dynasty title at this point than the Eagles? The team that defeated the reigning dynasty of the NFL in the Super Bowl may be the team that can become the next one. The team is led by now 3 rd year QB Carson Wentz, who was bound to win the MVP award in his second season until a torn ACL ended his season prematurely. With numbers of 3,296 passing yards, 33 TD, and just 7 INTs, it is hard to imagine that Wentz will only improve has he gets older. Wentz is an unbelievable athlete who possesses pure accuracy, a beautiful spiral on his ball, and an absolute cannon for an arm. The arm-sleeved QB brings an undeniable swagger to the field game in and game out, leaving you in awe after see

Russell Wilson – All Alone

By: Scott Edwards Twitter - @scott_edwards18 For years, at least it feels like, the Seattle Seahawks have been powered by their stellar defense and above average offense. And while Russell Wilson has been one of the top QBs in the entire NFL for years now, it seems as though he hasn’t had to carry the burden completely ever. Yet, after an offseason that included the departures of Sherman, Chancellor, Avril, and Bennett, it all but seems that this team will run through Wilson and what he can put together game in a game out. Those four defensive leaders are now gone, and Wilson faced that possibility last season when he was tasked with half a year without Seattle’s finest. But more than ever, it feels like Wilson is simply… All Alone. Woah. On offense, it has always been felt that Russell Wilson had to make magic with minimal weapons and an offensive line made out of sticks and bones. But it was always okay because you knew the defense could keep the other team in check u

Future Faces Of The NFL

By Constantine Martin Twitter: @gusmartin321 Over the past decade, the NFL has made stars of many different players who play many different positions. The superstars of the NFL, however, have generally stayed the same, with a few new guys here and there who make a splash for a couple seasons. Generally, it is hard for a player, especially in a sport like football where the average career is only 3.3 years, to be highly productive long enough to become one of the premier cornerstones of the NFL. Special players like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Antonio Brown, Adrian Peterson and others throughout the past several seasons have reached a level of success and stardom seldom matched by even the most talented of prospects. But the NFL currently has a few young players on the rise who could be the headliners of the league for years to come, and below are my top five players most likely to become the next faces of football. 1. Carson Wentz This one should be
